Forgive And Forget

Many times I thought about forgiving people when they do something upsets you and forgetting what they did.

When I forgive them I find myself sometimes remembering what they did!!
So I ask myself did I really forgive them??
The answer is yes, and if I couldn't forgive them coz they are my friends, I will forgive them for the sake of Allah..
So how I remember to them the bad things they did to me??!!

That made me thinks about the relation between forgiving and forgetting.

Then I reached a conclusion..
It is true you can always forgive when you forget,
but it is not a must to forget when you forgive.
